Audrey Keown Theatre
The Audrey Keown Theatre (AKT) is part of the McKeith Performing Arts Centre – a state-of-the-art performing arts venue.
The AKT was named after Ms Audrey Keown, a passionate teacher who taught Speech and Drama at the College for 40 years.
Speech and Drama remain integral to the College curriculum today. The 538 seat theatre is used on a daily basis for:
- Chapel services
- Year group meetings
- Presentations
- Drama productions
- Music recitals and performances
Available for College productions and external events and presentations, the theatre boasts:
- Cinema-sized projector screen
- Interactive lectern
- Moveable orchestra pit
- Full theatrical lighting rig
- State-of-the-art audio system
All technical operations are handled by fully trained staff.
