You will be encouraged to participate and enjoy all the sporting activities on offer, both in team or individual sports, whether for competition, fitness or just for fun.

...be a champion

Sport is an important and popular part of school life, with PLC Sydney having a proud sporting history, with many students that play at State, National and International levels.

We strive to encourage all our girls to participate and enjoy sporting activities, both in team or individual sports, whether for competition, fitness or just for fun and social recreation.

Our Sports department consists of specialist teachers and coaches that are among the best in the industry, often having played at national level themselves. Our excellent sporting facilities, including an indoor heated pool, playing field, fitness centre, gymnasium and tennis courts, facilitate the College’s comprehensive program that caters for participants from beginner level to elite.

Play Sport at PLC Sydney

Inclusivity is at the heart of all our sporting activities at PLC Sydney, creating opportunities for everyone to get involved.

All girls are encouraged to play competitive sports. PLC Sydney participates in the Independent Primary Schools Heads of Australia (IPSHA) and Independent Girls’ Schools Sporting Association’s (IGSA), with many of our teams successfully taking part in competitions and carnivals.

Students with special talents are offered a pathway to represent at the highest level available. The College also boasts a dedicated Swim Club, Gymnastics Club, Dive Club, Tennis Club and Winter School to cater to talented athletes.

At the end of the day however, inclusivity is at the heart of all our sporting activities at PLC Sydney. The pursuit of excellence sits comfortably alongside our broad and well balanced sports program.
