More than a place of academic excellence, PLC Sydney is a place where girls are extended to grow and develop their own unique potential.
Students at PLC Sydney can participate in a range of co-curricular activities. With more than 50 activities offered in the Senior School, there are plenty of opportunities for every girl to pursue her own interests and nurture her individual talent.
Co-curricular activities enable students to learn a new skill, discover and develop talents and interests, meet and develop friendships with students in all years

Clubs – Art and Design, Book Vultures, Chinese, Chess, College Crow (student newspaper), Future Problem Solving, Highland Dancing, Model United Nations, Movies in Macindoe, Salt (Christian Group), Salt Leaders’ Committee, Science, The Green Team, Socratic Club, Titration Competition, Tournament of Minds, Writers’ Group
Drama – Junior Drama Club, Middle Years Production, PLC Sydney Production, Senior Drama Club, Senior Production and Theatre Sports
Music – Baroque Ensemble, Big Band, Chamber Choir, Chamber Music, Chamber Strings, College Choir, Concert Band, Madrigal Group, Pipes & Drums, Senior Bells, Senior Chamber Orchestra, Stage Band, Studio Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, Wind Ensemble
Public Speaking and Debating – Private Speech, Speak Up Club, Debating Society, and competition such as the Independent Schools Debating Association (ISDA), Archdale Competition and the AHIGS Festival of Speech
Service Learning – Community Projects, International Projects, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, East Timor Committee, Pet Show, Vietnam Support Committee. Each year group in Senior School are involved in a service learning program
Sport – Diving, Equestrian, Fitness/Weights, Gymnastics, Sydney Swim Club PLC, Tennis Lessons
