APPLICATIONS FOR 2020 Principal's SCHOLARSHIP of Excellence are now CLOSED

APPLICATIONS FOR 2021 SCHOLARSHIPS WILL OPEN IN TERM 4, 2019

The Principal’s Scholarship of Excellence is open to new applicants and current PLC Sydney students who are entering Years 7-9.

Awarded to up to two applicants per year, the scholarship covers full or part tuition fees only for up to six years (from Years 7-12). The scholarship does not cover textbooks, uniforms, excursions, technology fees, individual subject fees or boarding fees.

If a scholarship is offered, written acceptance of the scholarship must be received, accompanied by a completed PLC Sydney Confirmation of Enrolment Form (if the applicant is new to the College), together with payment of the non-refundable Application Fee of $440 and payment of the non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $3 175.

Once a scholarship has been awarded all applicants will be notified.

Please note: Scholarships are open to Australian residents only. 

Criteria for Selection

To be eligible students need to be:

  • academically capable
  • brilliant on the sporting field or in a cultural pursuit
  • willing to contribute to the College community and broad goals of PLC Sydney
  • scholarships are open to Australian residents only

A needs equity consideration does not apply.

Please note: This scholarship can only be applied for once. Once you have applied, you can not apply again in subsequent years. 

Important Dates

  • Monday 4 February 2019 at midnight - Applications close
  • Late Term 1 2019 - Shortlisted candidates are contacted for an interview
  • Term 1 2020 - The Recipient of the scholarship starts school

How to Apply

Applicants must submit a PLC Sydney Scholarship application form with supporting documentation.
