YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS BRING BIG IDEAS TO OPEN DAY AND FAIR

Innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit were on full display at this year’s Open Day and Fair, as students across Years 7–11 launched their businesses in our much-loved Enterprise Alley.

Following a competitive Shark Tank-style pitch process led by our Social Science faculty, students brought their ideas to life through a vibrant collection of stalls featuring handmade products, gourmet treats, sustainable creations and refreshing beverages.

From crocheted bouquets and hand-sewn dog bandanas to loaded cookies, candles, cakes and customised snacks, each venture reflected the passion, resilience and ingenuity of our students. It was especially exciting to see our younger entrepreneurs in Years 7 and 8 confidently trading alongside senior students, embracing the challenge with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Congratulations to all of our student-led businesses and entrepreneurs:

  • Stitch Happens - Emma (Year 10)
  • Scruff & Scrunch - Alexia (Year 10)
  • Aroha - Alessandra (Year 10) and Sophie (Year 7)
  • Love from Lily - Lily (Year 10)
  • Citrus Sips - Lucy and Olivia (Year 8)
  • Bake Vogue - Sara (Year 10)

A special thank you to our staff, families and wider community for supporting our students throughout the day. Your encouragement helped make the event such a success.

Through experiences like these, students develop valuable real-world skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving and enterprise, while building the confidence to turn ideas into action.

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, teamwork and dedication shown by every student involved.
