View PLC Sydney Preschools InformationOn Friday 25 February the Burwood Art Prize opened to the public with a formal presentation of Prize Winners attended by Burwood Mayor, Councillor Mr John Faker. The exhibition showcased the talents of many of our talented Year 12 painters.
Congratulations to Angela Wu, whose work was recognised as Highly Commended in the Emerging Artist Section. Well done!
This year the Burwood Art Prize has expanded to offer the opportunity to submit artwork in the form of a painting or digital-still medium. The theme for this year's art prize is Burwood in the past, present or future. The exhibition will be on display until Wednesday 30 March. If you are in the area, be sure to visit the Library and view the works on display.
