CREATING WITH ARTIST JODY GRAHAM
Year 2 and Year 5 students have been getting creative with multidisciplinary artist Jody Graham as part of this year’s KidsArt program.
Jody visited PLC Sydney on two separate occasions to work with both year groups, with each student taking part in one workshop. Across the workshops, students explored drawing, mixed media and mark making, experimenting with materials and techniques inspired by Jody’s multidisciplinary practice.
Jody’s work celebrates the broken, displaced and forgotten, encouraging our students to look closely, experiment and find new ways to make their mark.
Jody is represented by Nanda\Hobbs, Sydney, and won the Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing in 2022.
We can’t wait to see how our students’ creative ideas come together for this year’s KidsArt exhibition.

The exhibition will then be open to the public from Thursday 15 to Wednesday 21 October, weekdays from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.
We look forward to celebrating the creativity of our Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 students.
