CHORAL CONCERT RAISES $63,000 IN MEMORY OF MR SCOTT GREGORY

The 2026 Choral Concert was a memorable evening of music, community and connection, bringing together singers from across PLC Sydney and the wider College community.

This year’s concert held particular significance as we honoured the memory of much-loved PLC Sydney teacher Mr Scott Gregory. In his memory, the concert supported vital support services and medical research at the Centre for Cardiovascular Research at Centenary Institute.

The generosity of the PLC Sydney community was extraordinary, with $62,955 raised through donations and the silent auction.
The concert showcased the breadth of PLC Sydney’s choral program, with performances from Cantabile, PLC Voices, College Choir, Vocal Synergy, Madrigal, Chamber Choir and our largest-ever Community Choir.

The first half of the concert culminated in a performance of Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, led by Senior choristers and featuring audience participation, bringing singers and audience together in a joyful celebration of music.

For our Year 12 choristers, the evening was also an important milestone, with Choral Medallions presented in recognition of their contribution and commitment to the College’s choral program.

The concert concluded with a spectacular combined-choir performance of Don’t Stop Believin’, filling the stage with singers and bringing the evening to an uplifting close.

Thank you to everyone who performed, attended, donated and contributed to the evening. Together, the PLC Sydney community celebrated Scott’s memory while making a meaningful contribution to cardiovascular research and support.
