Winning her moguls events at the NSW State Interschool championships and then second place at the Australian Interschool Championships. The highlight of the year though was the announcement that Charlotte had been selected for the NSWIS Moguls Team and the Australian Moguls Team.

Charlotte has enjoyed her time as a Boarder at PLC Sydney, taking every opportunity to get involved in the life of the College – both at school, as part of the boarding community and through the wide range of sporting, artistic, academic and social activities on offer.

Charlotte who is currently in Year 12 Boarder at the College, credits co-curricular opportunities as one of the main reasons she wanted to come to Sydney to study. An all-rounder Boarding bursary student, Charlotte comes from Jindabyne in NSW.

She is part of the PLC Sydney TIP Program, that supports young elite athletes to succeed in both their academic and sporting goals, providing them with the knowledge, skills and the portfolio of achievements they need to pursue both a tertiary pathway and sport at the highest level.

'My Boarding experience has been fantastic’ said Charlotte. Aside from academic support and the choices available within the curriculum (I do Advanced English, Maths Extension, Physics, PDHPE and the Study of Religion), one of the best things about PLC Sydney is the incredible co-curricular opportunities. Along with my snow sports, I’ve played AFL and Football in the PLC Sydney Firsts, which I really loved. I’m not just going to school to learn, I’m improving my interpersonal, leadership and critical thinking skills. I’ve definitely gained more confidence.’

As for Charlotte, she has set her sights on the 2024 Youth Olympics. We her track record to date, look out Korea!
