PLC Sydney is one of Australia’s oldest and most respected schools for girls. For over 125 years the College has been one of the most prominent leaders in the provision of a liberal and contemporary education for young women.
Thanks to the generosity of past generations of PLC Sydney philanthropists, the College is able to continue its tradition of growing confident, caring and accomplished young women.
In November, 2011, the first PLC Sydney bequest association was established. Named 'The Shubra Tower Society' after the iconic tower of Shubra Hall, it has grown steadily as ex-students and friends of the College provide notifications of bequests in support of PLC Sydney.
Bequests provide benefactors with the opportunity to remember and thank PLC Sydney for all it has meant to them and help secure the future of the College.
They are gifts of value made in a last will and testament. For example, personal assets such as works of art, property, shares and sums of money or a specified percentage of an estate.
Making a bequest is not difficult. Private and confidential assistance is available through PLC Sydney from the Foundation Executive Officer if required. It may be necessary to contact a solicitor to arrange a will or to request an amendment to an existing will.
