'Co-curricular activities made my high school experience so much better and it gave me a bit of a break from school work, but it was also really important for me to set a limit for myself and find a balance between school work and other activities.'

What is your fondest memory of your time at PLC Sydney?

I have a lot of good memories from my time at PLC Sydney but one experience that sticks out to me is before the final night of a play or musical when all of the cast are standing in a focus circle, pepping each other up, shedding a few tears and giving a lot of hugs. On the last night of Strictly Ballroom especially, when we were all hugging and crying together. Although it may seem like a very sad situation, I will always appreciate the bonds and friendships I've been able to make with a lot of different girls in other year groups. I have made some of my best friends through the PLC Sydney shows and I will cherish those memories forever.

If you could offer advice or a tip to someone about to do their final year, what would it be?

Surround yourself with a good support system. I don't think I would be able to get through Year 12 without my family and friends' support and love. It's good to have people who will listen, give you good advice and put you in check. Especially in Year 12, it's common to dramatise situations and it's good to have someone to bring you back to reality.

Also, do the subjects and co-curriculars you love and don't waste time comparing yourself to others!
