Facilities and Campus Map

...a vibrant hub of learning and activity

For over 130 years, PLC Sydney has been an inner west sanctuary where girls are free to nurture their interests and strengths, challenge themselves, and flourish academically.

The campus is a vibrant hub of learning and activity. Girls hover over Bunsen burners in the Science labs or read in the beautiful gardens near the Turtle Pond. Hockey players train on Drummond Field, while rowers head to practice on the Parramatta River.

In the Art Room, Junior girls create masterpieces, while budding biologists tend the vegetable garden beds or explore insects with one of our Animal Exhibits Officers in the Invertebrate House.

The Pipes and Drums perform on the Sunken Lawn after school, while our Drama students rehearse under the branches of our iconic camphor laurel tree, or on the stage of the Audrey Keown Theatre.

There’s an unmistakable feeling when you enter the gates at PLC Sydney. No matter what you love to do, we aim to create an environment that challenges, excites and engages you.

We invite you to explore our school and its wonderful facilities.

PLC Sydney transformed the original Croydon Hotel into an impressive centre for art, design and technology, with a professional exhibition gallery. Students engage in art and design in animation, ceramics, digital media, food technology, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles and 3D forms studios. They also work in design and production, using wood, plastics and fine metals. The creative works reflect traditions and current trends in their chosen medium.

The gymnasium and multi-purpose hall has a world-class sprung floor and is used by student athletes for training and competition. It is also home to PLC Sydney’s gymnastics club, which trains on a full complement of gymnastics equipment.
