Our students bring purpose and passion to everything they do.

Whilst we cannot predict the future, we can take steps to understand the world we live in and prepare for what may lie ahead.

At PLC Sydney we encourage our girls to make a difference, whether that is in the classroom, within their local communities or abroad. Working together is what we are about - to not only provide our girls with an excellent education, but an amazing tomorrow.

Meet some of our incredible students...

My favourite subject is Science because you get to do lots of fun experiments. You have to learn Maths too, if you want to become a Vet—that’s what I want to become.

Chloe Sargiss, Year 2 Student

The best thing about studying at PLC Sydney is the Co-curricular activities. There is such a wide range of programs you can get involved in—to experience new things and develop new passions. For me, it was Arts and Sport. I loved swimming, tennis and water polo. International exchange was also fantastic.

Year 12 School Captain 2015, Isabelle Buchanan

There are lots of girls from different backgrounds, but we all look out for each other. There is a very strong bond in the House and Miss Turner is like a Mum to everyone. It's just like being at home.

Phoebe Cox, Year 12 Boarding Captain 2022

Exchange is an unmissable and unforgettable experience that has changed the way I see the world, my studies and myself.

Emily O’Grady, Year 10 Student

I’m lucky to go to a school where teachers are really supportive and the older students have been such amazing role models.

2021 Vice Captain Angie Rofail with one of our youngest would be scientists! Angie was profiled by the CSIRO and shortlisted for the BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Awards, for her work in Biomimicry.

Aside from academic choices available within the curriculum (I do Japanese, Design and Technology and Sports Science), one of the best things about PLC Sydney is the incredible co-curricular opportunities. I’m learning the piano, I’m a member of the Rowing team and I’m also doing by Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. I’ve definitely gained more confidence.

Abbey Wilson, Year 9 Boarding Bursary Student and part of PLC Sydney’s TIP (Talented Individual Performer) Program.

The highlight of being in the Pipes and Drums Band is the opportunity to participate in Sydney’s ANZAC Day March. It’s an incredible experience—a really special day.

Lucy Berrell, 2021 Year 12 Student

Today we held our first Enterprise Day! Students had the opportunity to share their business story and sell their products in a market place setting. It was a wonderful learning opportunity for both the business owners and their classmates.

Christel Werner, Year 9

I love to bake and have my own cake making and decorating business that I run off my Instagram page called Baking Bronte. The College has been really supportive in allowing me to move my business to school. They even put in a small oven within the House so that I can bake on the weekends.

Year 10 Boarder, Bronte Runciman

My teachers believed in me before I believed in myself, and did everything they could to help me, and my fellow students, succeed

Rebecca Gibbs, Class of 2005

Being a part of the PLC Sydney community will be a memory I will cherish forever. My fondest memory will always be how supportive and absolutely amazing the class of 2020 was. And to the teachers who have guided me and shaped who I have become today - I will forever be grateful. Thank you!”

Lily Dai, Class of 2020. Scholarship recipient, currently studying Music at The Juilliard School in New York.
