Steps to Enrolment

ENROLMENT Process AT PLC SYDNEY Preschools

Boys and girls can be enrolled at any PLC Sydney Preschool, subject to availability. Having made the decision to enrol your child at a PLC Sydney Preschool, there are a number of steps to be completed. (All the relevant forms and documents are provided here on our website).

Before submitting your online application, please kindly note that the $440 Registration Fee is non- refundable.

STEPS TO ENROLMENT

Step 1: APPLICATION for enrolment FORM

Submit an Application for Enrolment Form and the non-refundable Application Fee, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate and other requested information. This can be done online, by clicking here.

Step 2: REGISTRATION

Once we have processed your application form and fee, we will confirm your child is registered on a Enrolment Waitlist Register (based on priority access).

Priority Access

Please note that PLC Sydney Preschools follow the Priority of Access Guidelines set out by the Commonwealth Government. To view these guidelines, go to: www.education.gov.au/priority-allocating-places

Equal Priority of Access is given to:

  • Children who are at least 4 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year and not enrolled at school
  • Children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July iand are from low income and Aboriginal families.

The remaining places will be allocated according to the order of the following criteria:

  • Registered siblings and children of current staff
  • Children and grandchildren of ex-students, according to their initial date of registration
  • By the date of registration
Step 3: preparation for iNTERVIEW 

Parents will be asked to complete the Preschool Enrolment Interview Form and attach updated information about your child. This paperwork will be reviewed by the Education Manager and Manager of Preschools. 

STEP 4: INTERVIEW AND CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT

 The Education Manager and Manager of Preschools will interview potential students and families in the priority order (listed above). 

After the interview, the Education Manager and Manager of Preschools will consider your application and an enrolment determination will be made.  At this time, a Letter of Offer will be issued, if you are successful, or advise you that your application was unsuccessful.

If your child has been offered a place, you will be required to complete the Enrolment Agreement (including updated Enrolment information) and return it along with the non-refundable Enrolment Fee $1,000 to secure and confirm your child’s place at the preschool.

Step 4: COMMENCEMENT

Once the enrolment process has been successfully completed, your child is ready to commence at PLC Sydney Preschools.
