Thank you to everyone who participated and supported the 2017 PLC Sydney Open Day and Fair on Saturday 13 May. As the major fundraising initiative of the P & F Association, we are pleased to let you know that the day was hugely successful!

We were incredibly fortunate to have beautiful weather and a big crowd that filled the College grounds, providing a wonderful atmosphere and a clear demonstration of the great community spirit that exists at PLC Sydney. As you can imagine, there is a lot of preparation that goes into putting together an event of this scale.

The Fair Committee and P & F Association would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who participated in some way to the success of this wonderful event. There are too many names to mention individually, but our thanks extend to the many volunteers, to our sponsors and donors, and to the students and friends of PLC Sydney.

We would like to extend special thanks to the Staff and Maintenance crew who worked tirelessly in the lead up to and throughout the event and to Grace Lubrano for her 16th year working on the fair!

A final total of funds raised and how they will be allocated to the various school programs will be given at the P & F Meeting on Monday 5 June. In the meantime, we are already thinking about Saturday 12 May 2018 (130 years of PLC Sydney) and are very keen to continue the success of this year's Open Day and Fair. We welcome any feedback, suggestions or ideas that will help us continue to raise the bar for this wonderful event.
