PLC Sydney 360

The PLC Sydney 360 is a new initiative in 2017. This year we are taking the topic of the Middle East and seeking to make it easier to understand. It's an opportunity to consider how a region of the world has become a trouble spot and what might be done to address the issue.

We have some wonderful speakers from a variety of backgrounds and vocations, who will present different aspects of the Middle East debate, that will open our minds and challenge the way we think:

  • Dr Norman Ricklefs – Consultant, former advisor to Iraqi Minister of Interior and Libyan Prime Minister
  • Ms Therese Tayah – Consultant, former advisor to US Department of State and Department of Justice
  • Ms Suzy David – Senior Advisor to the Assyrian National Alliance
  • Mrs Lynda Ben-Menashe – Community Relations Manager at NSW Jewish Board of Deputies
  • Mr Keysar Trad – President of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils
