Jersey Day 2017
Jersey Day celebrates the College’s ex-students and is named after the Countess of Jersey who opened the College at its permanent site in Croydon in 1891.
We celebrated this year’s event on Saturday 11 March 2017. It was a perfect day after weeks of constant rain. The 1957 alumni also enjoyed a luncheon in the Library Cafe before joining the afternoon festivities. These began with the Pipes and Drums, before a Service of Thanksgiving in College Hall. Afterwards, we were entertained by the College Big Band, with afternoon tea being served under the camphor laurel tree by our School Captains.
The ex-students were suitably impressed by the students for their standards and passion for their music.
