The Croydon Celebrates Early HSC Success
It is with great excitement that The Croydon celebrates the work undertaken by our Year 12 Visual Arts, Design and Technology and Textiles and Design designs students this year.

The Technological and Applied Studies Faculty is delighted to share the efforts of our talented designers this year. Savvena Christoforou’s Major Textiles Project has been selected for the Texstyle exhibition and nominated for the Shape exhibition. In an unprecedented achievement, six of our Design and Technology students have been nominated for possible inclusion in the Shape exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum. Sarah Bai, Katherine Chen, Keira Hajek, Vanessa Lubrano, Veronica Macaluso and Emma Triantafilis demonstrated innovation, creativity and the application of new technologies in the development of their projects.

The Visual Arts Faculty is thrilled to announce five nominations for consideration for inclusion in ARTEXPRESS 2018. These students include Vanessa Li (2018 Art & Design Captain) with her large scale graphite drawing Bloodline, Katherine Chen for her oil painting series The Wanderer, Kelsey Lu for her collection of drawing and painting figure studies titled Studies Vol. III, Lina Bang for her collection of works including a large oil painting and an animation piece titled New Year from the Old World Collection of Works and Victoria Hu’s series of oil and watercolour paintings titled Nostalgia.
