Rowing Camp

In the last week of the January school holidays, close to 70 PLC Sydney students participated in a fun, although intense, Rowing Camp. The camp is designed to challenge the students physically to get the biggest gains possible in their fitness level as well as being a great opportunity for crew and team bonding. To break up the intensity of the rowing training we also participate in a number of fun activities. Our Year 10’s and Seniors experienced the thrill of whitewater rafting and our Para Crew, Year 9 and Year 8 students had an evening for fun and laughs at the Penrith Cables Aqua Park. As a team we celebrated Australia Day with a dinner with dress ups along with a scavenger hunt. Everyone left camp tired but prepared for a term of rowing ahead.
