Newington Film Festival

Winners of last year's PLC Sydney Scintilla festival, Angeni Bai and Christina Shi (Year 10), have recently been accoladed for their uplifting and uproarious film, Airhead. The students entered their work into Newington's 17th Annual Film Festival, held in Newington College's Drama Theatre on Thursday 19 October 2017. Despite going up against The Scots' College and Newington College's respective film programs, the students took out the category for Best Junior Film. Brava to our budding auteurs, Angeni and Christina! We are very excited to see what they and the rest of Year 9 and 10 produce as we run our latest instalment of Scintilla, beginning halfway through Term 4.
