Students represented in the exhibition and catalogue include: Harriet Lambert, Kelsey Lu, Madeleine Farquhar, Scarlett Wynne, Julia Raleigh, Victoria Hu, Katherine Chen, Megan McConnell, Lina Bang and Vanessa Li.
The exhibition, which opened on Friday 9 June prominently featured our student's works that were impressive within the overall exhibition and demonstrate the high standard of Visual Arts at PLC Sydney within this community event. The opening included an Awards Ceremony where the winners of two acquired artworks, Artwork of the Year and Art Sustainability prize were announced. This year’s judges were Norma Tahhan - Internationally acclaimed artist and owner/director of Gallery NTK Croydon and Jenny Cheeseman - Arts Coordinator, Cumberland Council and Peacock Gallery.
If you are in the area please visit the Burwood Library and Community Hub to see the exhibition in the community space upstairs and vote for our students as your People’s choice! The winner of the People’s Choice will be announced after 19 June via Burwood Council’s website.
