'Into the Woods' was a feast for the senses

A small child entered the AKT last Wednesday night and whispered loudly to her mother, "I feel like I'm walking into the woods for real!" The 2016 PLC Sydney Production of Into the Woods was a feast for all the senses and blurred the line of reality and fantasy with humour and energy. The cast, orchestra and crew gave every ounce of focus in bringing to life this very witty and dynamic piece of musical theatre.

As the Director, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and thanks to the wonderful students and staff who shared their creativity with all. Student stage crew, costume designers and make-up artists worked tirelessly behind the scenes.  Those on stage, and in the orchestra pit, created a world of colour and vibrancy.  Special thanks to Mr Phil Harper and Ms Jodi McCarthy for their talents and tirelessness.  I will be feasting off the memories of this show for many years to come.
