Congratulations to the four PLC Sydney Visual Arts students whose HSC bodies of work have been nominated for ARTEXPRESS 2017.

The Visual Arts Faculty are delighted to announce that four of our HSC students bodies of work have been nominated for possible inclusion in ARTEXPRESS 2017. ARTEXPRESS is an annual exhibition featuring a selection of outstanding student artworks developed for the artmaking component of the HSC examination in Visual Arts in NSW. To be nominated for this prestigious exhibition is quite an honour and it assures the student that they have performed at the very highest standard in their artmaking. Congratulations goes to:

  • Maggie He for her series of oil paintings titled Hear Me
  • Kimberley Woo for her painting series titled The Hidden Force
  • Hannah Golder for her photomedia body of work titled Cropped & Tethered
  • Emma Vey-Cox for her series of self-portrait drawings titled (at) Face value

We are thrilled for these girls who were extremely committed during the artmaking process to achieve their very best result within their chosen expressive form. Final inclusions are based on curatorial selections for each ARTEXPRESS exhibition venue.

Head of Visual Arts Faculty
