Congratulations to Design students, Georgia Perivolaris and Renee Murray, whose HSC work has been nominated for the Shape exhibition. Georgia's work has been selected for the Texstyle exhibition.
The Major Textiles Project created by Georgia Perivolaris has been selected for inclusion in the Texstyle exhibition and nominated for the Shape 2016 exhibition, a great achievement for an incredibly dedicated Textiles and Design student. Georgia’s Major Textiles Project is a combination of haute couture apparel components that work synonymously to convey inspiration from fashion in the Baroque era, cultural aspects of Moroccan architecture and the contemporary designer Krikor Jabotian.
The Major Design Project created by Renee Murray has been nominated for the Shape 2016 exhibition at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences. A fabulous effort for an enthusiastic Design and Technology student. Renee created a new design collection featuring garments, jewellery and clutches, to launch a young designer and the manufacturing of textile items within Australia.
The selection process for Shape 2016 begins next week and final exhibitors will be announced later in the year.
