Choral Concert 2016
On Monday 31 October PLC Sydney college Choirs presented a short-but-sweet concert of beautiful vocal items for family and friends. It's always a nice way for the choirs to end the year. The groups that sang included: Vocal Ensemble, College Choir, Chamber Choir and Madrigal Group.
To a small but appreciative audience, the girls presented a varied range of items by Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten, Piazzolla (with a Halloween twist), Traditional Rounds, Schubert, and Simon and Garfunkel.
Our 2017 Music Captain, Isabella Zhu, did a wonderful job compering. Mrs Trisha Hamilton was presented with flowers of thanks for covering Mrs Casey Allen’s maternity leave this year. Concert performers and audience were generously catered for, thank you to Mrs Jennifer Trynes, Mr Ray Priest and Mrs Rosaria Cusumano. Thank you to staff who assisted on the evening and to parents and friends for coming along to enjoy beautiful choral singing.
