Music students receive diplomas
Congratulations to PLC Sydney piano students, Grace Zhu (Year 9) and Christina Shi (Year 9), who have achieved a diploma in the fields of musical performance in their recent Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) examinations.
Grace received an Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA). It is a prestigious award, equivalent to achieving an undergraduate tertiary qualification in Music.
Christina received a Licentiate in Music, Australia (LMusA). This award is one step further than an Associate in Music.
As one of the most respected bodies in this field AMEB's qualifications are recognised as a national benchmark across Australia. AMEB examinations are based on syllabuses designed by leading scholars and performers, regularly updated to ensure that they reflect an appropriate range of performance skills and the latest musicological research.
