news-presentation-to-juvinile-diabetes-research-foundation-thOn Monday 12 September 2016, Charity Captains, Abby Cassen and Deanne Kalis (Year 6), were invited to Ascham to present a cheque to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) representatives. Along with students from Knox Grammar, St Catherine’s and St Spyridon College, the four schools raised the most money for the IPSHA Walkathon.

Students presented a cheque for the amount of $137 000.10 to the Foundation. A wonderful combined effort by all the schools who were involved.

Abby and Deanne gave a short speech about the PLC Sydney Junior School’s participation in the Walkathon earlier this year and were presented with a certificate from Ms Dalwood, Federal Board Member of Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA).
