The finals of the IGSSA Netball were held at Five Dock Leisure Centre on 17 September 2016. PLC Sydney had four teams competing who all played well and fought hard. Three teams claimed victory in their division, PLS01, PLS10 and PLS09. PLS12 came so close, narrowly missing out by just 1 point. Well done to all teams for your fabulous show of sportsmanship.

Our PLC Sydney 1st’s (PLS01) kicked off the competition at 8.00 am. Up against Saint Vincents College, teams were neck and neck but PLC Sydney stayed strong. After a fabulous, nail biting game, with six minutes of extra time, Laura Sweeting shot a goal taking the score to 22-21 with PLC Sydney Firsts winning the premiership!

Over on another court, our Junior B’s (PLS10) were up against Frensham. It was a tight contest but a well played final quarter saw PLC Sydney overcome FRE07 to win 23-17!

At 9.00 am our Junior A's (PLS09) played MLC[insert #]. Being undefeated all season PLC Sydney controlled the game from the get go to claim a clear victory of 37-25!

Congratulations to all teams on an enjoyable 2016 season.
