IPSHA Athletics Carnival

On Monday August 29, the 2016 PLC Sydney IPSHA Athletics team came together to compete at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre. 28 athletes competed with great tenacity and six students were awarded by selection in the IPSHA Athletics Team to compete at the NSWCIS Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 14 September. 

Luca Mackinnon (Year 5): 8-10 Years Long Jump
Abby Alleyn (Year 5): Senior 4x100m Relay
Sofia O’Sullivan (Year 6): 12 Years High Jump and Senior 4x100m Relay
Bronte Prentice (Year 6): 11 Years Discus, and 11yrs Shot Put
Kaitlyn Halkidis (Year 6):12 Years 100m, 12 Years 200m, 12 Years Long Jump and Senior 4x100m Relay.
Ella Garnett (Year 6): 12 Years 100m, 12 Years 200m and  Senior 4x100m Relay.

Standout performances on the day were Bronte Prentice (Year 6) first place in 11 Years Discus and Ella Garnett (Year 6) first place in 11 Years 200 metres.

Congratulations to all girls involved for the outstanding way you represented the College.
