Women as entrepreneurs and business leaders

issue1416-business-womenOne of our goals at PLC Sydney for 2016 is to consider how we can develop our programs so that they are inspirational and effective in enabling young women to thrive in business.
97% of Australia’s businesses are ‘small’ – that is, they have up to 20 employees. 2.8% have 21–2000 employees and are classified as ‘medium’. Only 0–2% are large, having over 2000 employees.
At present PLC Sydney teaches excellent Commerce and Business Studies programs to Years 9–10.

I would like any women who are part of our community, who are astute and well-established in running successful businesses, to consult with me and our Head of Social Sciences about what a successful business program might look like. If you are interested please contact Mrs Sabita Mathews via email: smathews@plc.nsw.edu.au.
I look forward to your responses.
