Drama students take part in our first Improv Jam

Ten Senior Drama students were invited by The Scots College to take part in an improvisational ‘Jam’. Unlike other Theatresports competitions, there were no judges or scoring and the focus of the show was refining their skills and having a great time.

The girls represented the school really well, trying scenes they had not played before including 'Puppets', 'Persuasion' and 'Song'. The host Andrew O'Keefe (actor/TV personality) was very impressed with the girls’ performance and made a point of complimenting their confidence and skill.

What made the evening really unique was that there was a round where PLC sydney girls played scenes with students from other schools. This was a really wonderful, collegial demonstration of theatrical team work in action. Students from The Scots College, Kincoppal Rose Bay, Sydney Girls High School and Reddam House took part. We hope to be invited again.
