Jacqueline Harvey visits Junior School

Issue 0715_JacquelineHarvey_groupIssue 0715_JacquelineHarvey_charactersChildren’s book author Jacqueline Harvey visited Junior School students in Years 3 and 4 on Wednesday 25 March.

Jacqueline is the author of the very popular Clementine Rose and Alice-Miranda series and has published 31 books to date. The Alice-Miranda series actually began as an idea for a picture book. Thirteen books later, the series has been sold to the United States, United Kingdom, Indonesia, Turkey and Brazil (for Portuguese translation), and has also been shortlisted for children’s book awards in Australia.

During her visit Jacqueline spoke to the students about her latest books, Clementine Rose and the Movie Magic and Alice-Miranda at the Palace. She also discussed the possibility of Alice-Miranda being made into a TV series.

The students really enjoyed meeting Jacqueline and bought lots of books, which she signed on the day.
