The Year 11 Vietnam Committee would like to thank the PLC Sydney community for their support of the Ba Vi Centre in Vietnam. On Friday 15 May over 150 staff members, parents, friends and ex-students gathered to test their trivia knowledge and raise much needed funds for the Centre. Competition was tight with only a few points separating the top teams. In the end it was a table made up of Administration staff called ‘Office Matters’ that scored the top gong, winning in a tie-breaker.

Year 11 students baked cakes and put together a high quality silent auction that, along with general donations, raised a whopping $15 672. This record amount will ensure that our work at Ba Vi can continue in years to come. We will now be able to support a staff member to work in the rehabilitation room on a permanent basis, as well as develop the Centre’s facilities.
