Sports Update

Fitness Centre

The Fitness Centre (formerly known as the Weights Room) is undergoing renovations to increase its size by nearly double.

With an average of 200 Senior School students using the centre each week in Term 3, we are keen to enable the girls to maintain their fitness regimes during the upgrade.

We hope the centre will be ready to open in Week 5. However, in the interim, the following venues will be used:

Before School
Time: 7.00 – 8.00 am
Location: Sunken Lawn (In the event of rain Thompson Hall will be used)
Girls to bring a towel.

Lunch time
Time: 12.30 – 1.20 pm
Location: Thompson Hall (MRC end)

After School
Time: 3.15 – 4.15 pm
Location: Room 24
(Monday and Wednesday) Rowers and Swimmers only.
(Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) General Use.

Exercise Physiologist, David John, will continue to be in attendance at all sessions. Cardio, flexibility, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation from injuries are just some of the services on offer.

We will advise when the new venue will be opened. For more information, please email: fitnesscentre@plc.nsw.edu.au
