Congratulations to Alison Chen in Year 10 (pictured) who was awarded her LMusA at the weekend. This is a fantastic achievement for someone so young. Alison performs many times throughout the year for the Music Department and should be acknowledged for her hard work and dedication to her music. 


issue1515-junior-music-iconJunior School Concerts

All ensembles from the Junior School will perform on Tuesday 20 October in the Audrey Keown Theatre.

The event will include two smaller concerts: the first concert starts at 5.00 pm and will feature Evandale ensembles. The second concert will commence at 6.30 pm and include Hamilton ensembles. Light refreshments will be available in the AKT foyer between the concerts.

Choral Concert

This concert will be held on 2 November beginning at 6.00 pm in the Audrey Keown Theatre. It will feature Vocal Ensemble, Madrigal, Chamber Choir, College Choir, and Senior Bells. The concert is a celebration of the work these ensembles have achieved throughout the year and will include performances in a variety of styles.  Admission is free and not ticketed.







PLC Sydney top of the talk
After four years of being runners-up, PLC Sydney reclaimed its number one ranking by placing first overall at the AHIGS Festival of Speech competition, held last weekend.

Congratulations to Year 11 students Nicole Sung and Annelise McCarthy who achieved 6th and 8th place, respectively, in the Australian Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (AIDPSC), which was held in Melbourne during the school holidays.
