Creativity and confidence displayed in Tournament of Minds

issue1315-tomPLC Sydney Junior School has participated in Tournament of Minds for some years now and is always very ably represented. In 2015, the depth and strength of talent in the Junior School allowed us to field three fabulous teams who accepted the ToM challenges in Social Sciences, Language and Literature and Applied Technology.

Each of these teams made an impressive commitment to their training and worked long and hard making props, writing scripts and code, and planning costumes for Tournament Day on Sunday 23 August. The girls' confidence, enthusiasm and creativity were evident in every presentation. As they completed each task, the smiles on their faces were the best part of the day for all of their many supporters.

Well done to all of our girls and special congratulations to the Applied Technology team, in particular, who won their division and will now proceed on to the State Finals on 13 September at the University of NSW.
