Transition Class simply spectacular!

The Transition Class Spectacular was held on Thursday 30 July in the Audrey Keown Theatre.

Twenty-four students from Years 7-12 entertained a huge audience for two hours. The first act consisted of individual and small group performances with girls singing, dancing, giving talks and performing skits, sharing movies and reciting poetry. The second act began with a full class play called Snow White and the Eight and a Half Dancing Dwarfs, included a video of our Design and Technology creations, and finished with a group dance.

The response from the audience (cheers, laughter and loads of applause) really lifted the performances and all the girls excelled and had a wonderful night.

We received several enthusiastic comments from members of the audience that included:

“The best school production I have ever seen and I have been to dozens”.

“I thought last year was amazing and I think you have bettered it again”.

“Today I have received many messages from the friends and family that came along to support Rosie. The theme is a common one – that the night was a wonderful showcase of the significant talents of the Transition Class, but even more than that, it demonstrates the love, care and respect that the girls and their teachers show for each other. I felt very proud of Rosie last night but more importantly she felt mighty proud of herself!”

We wish to thank everyone for their support and we look forward to many more shows to come.
