2016 Vietnam Service Learning Tour
Expressions of Interest
Expressions of Interest are now invited for the 2016 Vietnam Service Learning Tour.
Each year PLC Sydney Year 11 students have the opportunity to travel to Vietnam in support of the year group charity, the Ba Vi Centre for Children with Disabilities and the Elderly. Students spend time working with the children in the orphanage and rehabilitation centre. Students are confronted with the challenges of living and working in a developing country. The tour is a rich and highly rewarding experience that will enhance their personal and academic development.
The tour provides students with an opportunity to:
- Learn more about their year group charity
- Work with children at the rehabilitation centre and orphanage
- Experience another culture and way of life
- Allow them to see how fundraising makes a difference
- Live gospel values.
