Hockey IGSSA Overview

IGSSA Hockey is offered in Term 3 at PLC Sydney

Playing Dates 2019	Playing Saturdays July 27 August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 Sept 7 Semi Finals : Sept 14 (1v4, 2v3 only) Final : Sept 21
Game Time	8.00 am, 9.00 am, 10.00 am or 11.00 am
Team Trials and Training	All Team Trials and Training in term 2 will be at Cintra Park Hockey Field 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm. Football boots cannot be worn on this Astro turn. Astroturf shoes are recommended for extra grip. A bus will take girls to Cintra Park after school at 3.20 pm and return those girls not picked up by 5.05 pm. Those returning to school please arrange to pick up at the school roundabout. Uniform	All students: PLC Sydney reversible singlet PLC Sydney black PE skort with red trim Regulation PLC Sydney socks (black with red trim hockey socks)
Equipment	Compulsory mouthguard, shin guards and hockey stick.
Transport	Own arrangements are to be made and car pooling by team members can be a great idea.
Arrival on Game Day	Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to match time. Sign on at convenor's table upon arrival at venue. Senior Firsts and Junior As may be required earlier.

Training	TBA
Absenteeism	If you are aware of an occasion that will necessitate you to miss a training or a game, you MUST register your absence on the website at Saturday Sport Absence Notification. Please click here. Students who provide less than 24 hours's notice of their absence are also required to email the Sports Coordinator directly as well as complete the online form.
2019 Hockey Fee	$175 per student. This amount will be billed to each student's school fees account.
