Chamber Choir

PLC Sydney has a rich and exciting history of singing. An internal school House Choir Night ensures that all girls in the school have some experience with singing in a vocal ensemble. Over the years girls in choral ensembles have won many awards and have been involved in community events, including church services, professional events, weddings, funerals, community functions, tours and competitions.

The College Chamber Choir (SSAA) is a selective choir for girls in years 8 – 12. In 2013 The Chamber Choir won the Inaugural Rotary Choral Grand Prix and a prize of $10,000. Choirs over the years have toured to Britain, New Zealand, China and Hong Kong.

All members must be able to read music or play an instrument.

The range of music is challenging and varied. It would appeal to students who love to sing, who have vocal lessons or who have had experience in choirs.
