plc sydney's 2016 SENIOR PRODUCTION:  the tempest by william shakespeare.

The Tempest by William Shakespeare, is set on a remote island, where the sorcerer Prospero (the rightful Duke of Milan) who has been exiled to twelve years earlier, plots his revenge haveing been banished to the island and usurped by his brother Antonio. Prospero plots to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place using illusion and manipulation by conjuring up a storm to lure his brother Antonio and the complicit King Alonso of Naples to the island. Here, his machinations bring about the revelation of Antonio's true nature, the redemption of the King, and the marriage of Miranda to Alonso's son, Ferdinand.
