Drama - Years 3 to 6 (Term 3)

Classes operate on both Tuesday and Wednesday with eight or more participants required for it to proceed.  Spaces are strictly limited.

FOLK STORIES AND FAIRTALES AS AN ENSEMBLE!

This term students will be exploring folk stories and fairytales from popular culture, and less known stories from all around the world. folk stories and fairytales are more that just entertaining ....they often hold a lot of deeper meaning, cultural value and moral teachings than what can immediately be seen on the surface.

Students will work as an ensemble to learn the art of creating in groups. Ensemble work allows for students to learn how to work efficiently and respectfully as part of a team. Students Learn: how to share ideas in a group setting: when to speak, and when to be a kind and attentive listener.

Students will be collected from the steps of Shubra Hall at 3.05 pm for a 3.15 pm start and returned to the roundabout at the end of the class.

Enrolments close 15 days prior to the start of each term. No student will be permitted to attend without prior notification.
