The 2020 Perry Prize
THE 2020 PERRY PRIZE FOR DRAWING IS NOW CLOSED
To be eligible to enter the 2020 Perry Prize for Drawing, artwork submitted must be the artist's original work that has been produced within 12 months prior to Wednesday 8 January 2020.
The judge for the 2020 Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing is Dr Felicity Fenner, Associate Professor, UNSW Art & Design.
In 2019, acclaimed Melbourne artist, John Wolseley, selected 43 works from over 470 entries across Australia. The winning $25 000 acquisitive prize was awarded to Sydney artist, Sally Simpson, for her drawing Full Fathom 5 #9.
Now in its 15th year, the Perry Prize is one of the most well regarded and valuable of its kind in Australia. PLC Sydney and the Adelaide Perry Gallery gratefully acknowledges all its past and current entrants.
The Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing Exhibition of Finalists 2020 will commence on Friday 28 February and run to 27 March 2020. The gallery is open on Weekdays from 8.30 am - 4.00 pm and Saturdays from 11 am - 4.00 pm.
At the close of the exhibition a people’s choice award of $2,000 will be awarded to the finalist’s work voted favourite by Gallery visitors. Voting slips will be available online.
