Students' work recognised at 2015 HSC Design Exhibition
Congratulations to the Year 12 Design and Technology and Textiles and Design students, whose HSC Major Projects were on display at the annual exhibition held this week.
Class of 2014 Textiles and Design students Elise Crimmins and Sophia Chrysanthos returned to The Croydon Centre for Art, Design and Technology to officially open the event. The pair congratulated the current class on their efforts and spoke about some of their own achievements in their tertiary studies this year.
The following students received awards for consistent effort and commitment to the design process in their 2015 studies: Alexia Morelli, Unjelique Hajjar, Ana Jandagi and Vanessa Young of Design and Technology; Unjelique Hajjar, Alice Shui and Hannah Green of Textiles and Design.
Head of Technological and Applied Studies, Ms Jo Herrmann, also took the opportunity to thank Art and Design Captain, Unjelique Hajjar, for her exceptional contribution over the past 12 months.
Presentations of thanks were made to teachers Ms Nadine Emans (Design and Technology) and Mrs Maria Nastasi (Textiles and Design) by Carla Papadimatos and Hannah Green respectively, on behalf of their classes.
Unjelique Hajjar also thanked family, friends and The Croydon staff for their support of the girls in their endeavours this year.
We wish all the girls every success as they complete their projects.
