Corporate RowingThe PLC Sydney Rowing Parent Support Group will again coordinate the PLC Sydney Corporate Rowing programme during May 2011.
As the major PLC Sydney Rowing community annual fundraiser, this programme has the equally important objective of providing PLC Sydney parents, family, friends and interested community members, with the opportunity to row for fun and fitness using all the PLC Sydney Rowing advantages – experienced and friendly coaches, quality boats and great facilities – together with the opportunity to race in the Great Autumn Regatta on Sunday 29 May 2011 at the Olympic Regatta Centre at Penrith. Perhaps you will even have the chance to stand on the Olympic podium and receive a gold, silver or bronze medal!
Our experience is that all participants (women and men of any age and all levels of rowing experience) enjoy themselves thoroughly by mucking about in boats and experiencing the team spirit that only rowing can deliver.
The programme also provides a great opportunity for companies to promote their goods or services by naming a crew or taking up other sponsorship opportunities.
If you are interested in participating in the 2011 programme, please assist our initial planning by completing the expression of interest form and returning it to Andrew Gibson (contact details are in the form).
Please also note that this is not the official entry process – application, donation and related entry forms will be emailed during early April.
We look forward to having you on board for another entertaining rowing programme in 2011.
